The Detroit Regional Chamber is leading efforts to identify career pathways that lead to good jobs – those that pay a family sustaining wage, are seeing growth in the labor market, and are in demand from regional employers. It is creating pathway maps and other tools and resources to help students, families, and counselors navigate the regional job market and corresponding education pathways.
To support this work, the Chamber partners with Education Strategy Group (ESG) to identify equitable career pathways in the Region. Together, they have hosted a workshop on communicating with families about postsecondary pathways and shifts in the labor market for business, education, and nonprofit leaders. ESG has also supported labor market analysis and the creation of graphics and outreach materials. Resources from the workshop and the additional resources are available for download below.
