Glenn Wilson is the Co-founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Communities First Inc., leading an award-winning organization focused on economic development and housing. He is considered a thought leader with a cross-sector background and experience in health care, real estate, financial management, business development, M&A, transportation, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Wilson also has considerable expertise in crisis management, strategic planning, and organizational and financial management.
Wilson serves on the Michigan Housing Council Board of Directors, the Michigan Historic Preservation Network Board, the Corporate Board of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis, the Mass Transportation Authority Board, and the Valley Area Agency on Aging Board. He lends his knowledge of finance and regulatory requirements to the Elga Credit Union Supervisory and Audit Committee and Hurley Foundation.
Wilson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Northwood University and a Master of Science in Administration specializing in Leadership from Central Michigan University. A member of the Private Director’s Association, Wilson also has a certificate in Private Company governance.
