What’s on the Minds of Michiganders?

On Oct. 22, 2024, attendees heard key findings from the Fall 2024 Michigan Voter Poll, which focused on voters’ conflicting opinions on investment in the economy and their reluctance to embrace actions and policies to make Michigan competitive.

FY25 State Budget Meeting

On Aug. 13, 2024, the Detroit Regional Chamber livestreamed its FY25 State Budget Meeting with State Treasurer Rachael Eubanks and State Budget Director Jen Flood. Attendees learned how the state generates the budget and creates recommendations for distributing the funds.

Meet Southeast Michigan’s County Leaders

On May 7, 2024, attendees had the opportunity to discuss public policy issues impacting local businesses with Oakland County Executive David Coulter, Wayne County Executive Warren Evans, and Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel. In a moderated discussion with CBS Detroit and Detroit Free Press’ Carol Cain, they discussed how they will work together for the future of the Detroit Region.

On Sept. 7, 2023, Chamber members heard from Congressional members from Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw, and Wayne counties on the Region’s future. The session highlighted how these leaders work together and explored opportunities for bipartisan collaboration in Michigan.
