Apply Now: Connect with Potential Investors this April During Renaissance Venture Capital’s DEI UnDemo Day®

Applications for Renaissance Venture Capital’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) UnDemo Day® are now open. Early-stage companies seeking capital in the next 18 months are encouraged to apply.
UnDemo Day® is a virtual extension of Renaissance’s biannual event that connects regional startups with hundreds of venture capital funds from around the country. It will be held Wednesday, April 27, from 1-5 p.m. and will focus exclusively on making connections for companies in the Midwest or Central U.S. that are founded or led by women, people of color, or individuals from the LGBTQ+ community.
Chosen companies will participate in one-on-one video meetings with investors in their domain area. The top 20 applicants with the most votes from investors will also have the opportunity to make a five-minute presentation to f the investors in Renaissance’s “pitch room.” They will also be able to participate in the pre-UnDemo Day® coaching sessions led by Renaissance and Invest Detroit and the day-of training sessions in accounting, legal, and human resources from Ernst & Young, Foley & Lardner, and Amy Cell Talent.
To apply, fill out an application form with information about your company and fundraising plans, and submit a brief pitch deck for review by potential investors.
