Robert (Bob) G. Riney is President and Chief Executive Officer of Henry Ford Health, continuing to lead the nation in providing innovative, compassionate care.
With over 45 years of service at Henry Ford Health, Riney has played a pivotal role in many transformations.
In his current role, Riney has spearheaded some of Henry Ford Health’s most ambitious projects to date, including a joint venture with Ascension Michigan, which unites the two major health systems to enhance care delivery across the Detroit Region. His leadership has also been key to the Destination: Grand project, a complete re-imagination of Henry Ford Health’s Detroit campus and its own Central Energy Hub, making it one of the largest fully electric-capable hospitals in the country.
Riney’s current community roles include Trustee of the Alfred I. duPont Charitable Trust and a Board Member of the Detroit Zoological Society, M1 Rail Transit Authority; The Parade Company, Hudson-Webber Foundation, Caymich Insurance Company, the Detroit Regional Chamber, Business Leaders for Michigan, Downtown Detroit Partnership, Detroit Regional Partnership, The Detroit Economic Club, and Motown Museum.
Riney is a graduate of Wayne State University.
