Chauncy Lennon is managing director of global philanthropy at JPMorgan Chase. He previously served as senior program director for workforce development, where he led New Skills at Work, a five-year $250 million initiative to help workers and industries invest in the skills needed to compete and prosper in the global economy.
Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, he worked with the Ford Foundation, where his grant-making focused on promoting economic advancement for low-income workers by improving access to workforce development and work support programs. Lennon also served as senior vice president for asset building at Seedco, where he was responsible for the growth and operation of national initiatives that connected low-wage workers to income-enhancing benefits and services.
Lennon earned a doctorate degree in anthropology from Columbia University, as well as a master’s degree from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Williams College.
