Dave Egner is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation, overseeing its mission to enhance the quality of life in Southeast Michigan and Western New York.
Established by Ralph C. Wilson, Jr., the foundation is committed to spending its funds by 2035 in Early Childhood, Afterschool, Young Adults and Working Families, Caregivers, Entrepreneurship and Economic Development, Parks, Trails, and Green Design, Youth Sports and Nonprofit Support and Innovation.
Egner’s philanthropic journey includes leadership roles at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Michigan Nonprofit Association, and the Hudson-Webber Foundation. He also spearheaded the New Economy Initiative, driving substantial economic growth. Egner advocates for community empowerment and cross-sector collaboration in grantmaking.
Egner earned a Master of Business Administration from Western Michigan University and a bachelor’s degree from Westminster College.
