Deanna L. Stewart is the Founder and Executive Director of Equity Alliance of Michigan, a community-based nonprofit focused on providing resources that build communities while offering support that helps families thrive. To achieve its mission, Equity Alliance of Michigan engages the community through its Pillars of Equity, which include Entrepreneurship, Empowerment, and Employment Mobility.
Stewart serves on the Board of Directors and as the Michigan Chapter President of Women of AT&T, an AT&T Employee Relations Group. She is also a past member of the Leadership Committee for the Black Catholic Global Outreach organization, a non-profit organization that assists AIDS orphans in Africa and Haiti. Her legacy as an accomplished leader is a testament to her enduring dedication to creating positive change and leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those she serves.
Stewart earned a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Administration from Central Michigan University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Walden University. Stewart is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Human and Social Services.
