Ronald S. Taylor is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Detroit Area Agency on Aging (DAAA), leading a team of 150 staff members that build key coalitions, partnerships, and community networks to empower older adults to age independently in their own homes.
Taylor is one of Crain’s 2021 Notable Executives in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and serves on the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network, Substance Use Disorder Oversight Policy Board, DTE Energy, the State of Michigan’s Direct Care Worker Advisory Council, the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Senior Advisory Council, and the National Institute on Aging Policy Advisory Council.
Taylor earned a Master of Business Administration in Management from Tiffin University and a Master of Arts in Urban Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Akron. He was a Fellow in the Re-Balancing Long-Term Care program of the Robert Woods Johnson Foundation and the University of Minnesota.
