On March 21, Crain’s Detroit Business honored its 2023 Newsmakers of the Year at the Newsmakers of the Year Awards held at MGM Grand Detroit.
A special congratulations to Detroit Regional Chamber Board of Directors member Bob Riney who was recognized as Newsmaker of the Year for spearheading Henry Ford Health’s ambitious $4.9 billion expansion throughout Southeast Michigan, which was announced last year.
These honorees were selected by Crain’s journalists for their influence on moving the Detroit Region and state forward throughout 2023.
The Detroit Regional Chamber is celebrating many of its Board of Directors members and member companies being recognized among the Crain’s Detroit Business 2023 Newsmakers of the Year. The Chamber also proudly recognizes government and community leaders like Speaker of the House Joe Tate, Michigan State University Federal Credit Union’s April Clobes, and Baobab Fare’s Hamissi Mamba and Nadia Nijimbere.
